A List of Stative Verbs Dr Mukesh Kumar Pareek

 These Verbs spoil a sentence if used in progressive tenses.

Here  I present a  long list of the major verbs which should not be used in continuous tenses.

 Look, believe, doubt, feel,  have ,imagine, know, dislike, love, hate, prefer, realize, recognize, remember, see, suppose, think, understand, want, wish, appear, hear, see, seem, smell, sound, taste, agree, deny, astonish, disagree, impress, mean, please, promise, satisfy, surprise, belong, concern, consist, depend, fit, involve, lack, matter, need, owe, own, possess, etc.
